To maintain the fresh roasted quality and flavor, we recommend the coffee be stored in its whole bean form until you are read to grind and brew. Use an airtight container that also keeps heat, light and moisture from coming into contact with the coffee. Follow the same storage guidelines for ground coffee. Always use fresh, cold water. Begin with two table spoons of coffee per six ounces of water. Adjust the amount of coffee to use based on your personal taste preference. When grinding your beans, pay attention to the size of the grind. A fine grind results in more extraction and yields a stronger flavor while a coarse grind yields a milder flavor.
