A complex blend of Pacific Rim coffees and robust French Roast. Full bodied, rich and smooth with light acidity. Since 1989. Roasted at our facility in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Our Story: In 1989 two entrepreneurs left the city life of Boston to pursue skiing, and a mountain lifestyle. They opened their first espresso bar in Vail, Colorado – the world famous Daily Grind located on Bridge Street. Their company evolved into Colorado’s finest coffee roaster and tea company – Vail Mountain Coffee and Tea. They have been sharing their passion for freshness, quality and sustainability with other retailers and households around the country since 1989. The roasting operation, at 8,000 feet above sea level, coupled with the crisp Colorado mountain air, give Vail Mountain Coffee a high altitude advantage. The coffee retains more of its essential oils, intensifying its aroma and flavor, resulting in a deep smooth cup profile.

Brewing: As a guide, use one tablespoon of ground coffee per 7 oz. of cold water, adjust to taste. Grind just the right amount of coffee for each brew. For French Press: Use a course grind. For a Grip Machine: Use a Medium grind. For a Cone: Use a slightly finer grind. Use fresh cold water, filtered is preferable. Storage Practices: Thanks to the dry mountain air, our coffees have less moisture and as a result, stay fresher longer. Even though the coffee is packaged immediately from the roaster it is important to follow these simple procedures to ensure quality. Store in a cool environment in a dark sealed container. We recommend that once the bag is opened use within 10 days.
